Whattlethorpe is a town situated in The Contested Isles. It serves as the main hub for Cluck'thulians to practice their beliefs. The monastery that's situated nearby is where the hardcore ones go. The town itself serves as a place to welcome the incoming faithful ones. It is also where some of the gift shops are. You know, the ones where you can buy little plastic chickens, statues of Cluck'thulu, thimbles, decorative mugs, postcards, stuffed toys, books, t-shirts, jewelry, candles, silverware, action figures, fridge magnets, did we mention mugs already, everything that can be printed onto, personal grooming tools, candy, and anything else you can come up with.

Wattlethorpe Monastery

Founded by a group of rogue monks who had grown tired of the strict dietary restrictions of their previous monastery, the Wattlethorpe Monastery quickly gained a reputation for its eccentric practices and rituals. Visitors to the monastery are often greeted by the eerie sight of robed monks performing elaborate chicken-themed dances and chanting the praises of Cluck'thulu. The monastery's main chapel is adorned with grotesque chicken-headed statues and altars covered in feathers and eggshells.

Cluck'thulians gather in Wattlethorpe Monastery to practice their beliefs. Whether or not this includes human sacrifices cannot be confirmed by scientists as the monastery is known for its very reclusive nature. Outsiders don't dare go near it and cultists grow their own food on the monastery grounds, meaning they don't have a lot of reasons to venture outside of its walls. Chickens roam the grounds freely, given that they're revered here. No one dares to harm them, given that it might end in the death penalty.

Once a year though, the true horror of the Wattlethorpe Monastery becomes apparent during its annual sacrifice to Cluckthulu, when one live chicken is sacrificed in a gruesome ritual. It is with pain in their hearts, but it's neccessary. The blood of the sacrifice is said to be used to create a powerful chicken-based elixir that grants the monks superhuman strength and the ability to lay eggs at an alarming rate. Despite its macabre practices, the Wattlethorpe Monastery remains a popular destination for chicken enthusiasts and curious travelers alike. However, some warn that the monastery's devotion to Cluck'thulu may be more than just a silly joke, and that the true power of the chicken deity should not be underestimated.
