The Brackish Bog is a natural phenomenon in Greater Pixlton. Filthy, smelly, boggy, and brackish. There are only so many adjectives that can be used to describe this place. The brackishness is caused by an inlet from the sea that, depending on the tide, turns the bog into somewhat of a floodplain. To some, its main appeal lies in the fact that there are no trails here. This has spawned a small tourist business around the Brackish Bog, but why anyone would come to visit is beyond us. These weird people willingly traverse the swamp, simply because others might not. They explore the diverse landscape and admire the bog lakes, where they even go for a swim on occasion. Depending on the season, they will also be picking cloudberries or cranberries which are in abundance in this bog. Fuckin' hippies.

Fauna

Parts of the bog are infested with crocodiles. They manage to snag a hippie from time to time, which is fine by us. These magnificent creatures were here first and need to be fed regularly to stay healthy. Circle of life motherfuckers. Shouldn't have gone for a swim there Moonbeam! The bog is also home to numerous bird species, but we have no clue which ones. Some people might be into discerning the "chirp-chirp" from the "cacaw-cacaw" and the "prrt-prrt" but we couldn't care less. They fly, they're birds, in all the colors of the rainbow.
