Gravemond is a monument situated in Greater Pixlton. It consists of a mound with a visible grave at the top. Rumor has it that dead bodies comprise the entirety of the mound, but no one has dared dig it up. How the bodies got onto this little island or what might be the cause of death is unknown. Various small archeological expeditions were conducted to clear up these mysteries. One of the working theories is that the mound is linked to the Black Death also known as Pestilence. This bubonic plague pandemic swept the world in the mid-1300s. Being a highly infectious disease it could account for both the isolated location and body count. Despite its macabre history, Gravemond is a peaceful and serene place, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Just be sure to avoid the gravemound at night, as it is rumored to be haunted by the spirits of the Black Death victims.
